EarthMC: The Casino Spin

It’s the 25th of February in EarthMC, and I have started to wonder: what is up with all these new casinos. Are they even legit? Are their payouts really such large sums? And how is their service?
In this report, I will be covering all those topics and more, for the most known casinos, as well as the best possible up-and-coming casinos.
Friendly Reminder: take everything written in this article with a grain of salt. My opinions on certain people have changed, some for the better, some for the worst.
I WANT GOLD
As all us daily EarthMC players know, “I WANT GOLD” is the most known casino EarthMC has. Managed by BonZZil_, TheAmazing_Moe, and kounter on discord, this casino is purely discord run. How does it work? Well you see, I asked one of the owners, BonZZil_ this exact same question, expecting an explanation, instead of answering my question he sent another ad. Even though this might be the most “visited” casino, it is missing all aspects of a casino: lights, levers, buttons, major redstone contraptions. This casino should not be called a casino. It functions more like a crypto currency: pay, play a bit (in crypto trading the “playing” part would be replaced with waiting) and cash out. As I write this, I still have not tried out the most famous EarthMC casino “I WANT GOLD”. Due to his behaviour, I do not feel attracted to his service, nor do I think I will ever recommend it to anyone else.
The reason for his rudeness towards me? I own a Minecraft team with a japanese name.
Would I have tried out the casino if the user known as “BonZZil_” wouldn’t have been rude?
Maybe. Will I recommend his casino to other players? Most definitely. This casino is unique, something I have never seen in my 8+ years of playing Minecraft. With gold deposit boxes in multiple nations, this casino can be used from anywhere in the real world, whether you are at school, at work, or on the bus, you will always be able to gamble at “I WANT GOLD”. The reason why I believe this casino is not worthy of a good rating, is within the fact that multiple people have called it a scam. I mean as much as I would like to stay humble, I did too, but with a very good reasoning:
“I've just been scammed by thewalkingbanks and lost some of my personal gold, I wanted to call him out in the forum but now I am being accused of lying, he spammed here a two weeks ago and we banned him, but now he is apparently scamming people. Please read this forum and watch out.”

At /t spawn kaniw, all of us attempted to kill resident BonZZil_, with one successful attempt, and multiple failed. At this rate, as long as BonZZil_ is the face and owner of “I WANT GOLD”, it is destined to collapse and run out of customers.
After reading this message, all of my hopes of “I WANT GOLD” being a proper, straightforward casino swindled, and I started to wonder just how many people were scammed by the owners of this casino. Gambling Machine at /t spawn kaniw
During my dispute with BonZZil_, a resident known as “doytschReal” recommended to me his gambling machine, where he himself said that he loses more than he gains. According to him, he makes about 0.0405g per play. This “casino”is very simple: one hopper, one dispenser, and a small bar showing all available prizes. This casino was too popular for me to gamble properly. Everyone was clogging the reward dispenser so collecting my reward was more difficult than expected, since I did manage to gamble once, winning myself a golden nugget.
It has been a day, and I decided to gamble again, this time alone with no one around to attempt to steal my gold or rewards. While gambling, the owner of Kaniw’s casino told me about a contract which was signed by one of the thieves who stole gold during yesterday's attempt to gamble. Through meeting doytschReal, the alliance known as “ANSF: Alliance for National Security and Finance” has gained a new town, being Kaniw.
For an owner who makes sure that the gambler does not lose too much gold, he is already a saint, but there is more to him than one might think: yesterday, 25th of february, I attempted to gamble at /t spawn kaniw, to no avail. With multiple people, among them being BonZZil_, trying to steal the rewards from the rightful gamblers, he decided to take matters into his own hands, and sink some players in lava, and have others meet their imminent deaths to a free fall. While most casino owners will advertise using this incident in a negative way, in the eyes of an AP class in Business, his choice to kill these players was more than surprising; it was just, patriotic and morally correct.
DISCLAIMER: none of the killed members lost their loot, they were killed in claims where their loot does not drop.
This gambling machine has potential to become a full fledged casino. With a kind, patriotic, responsible owner, you are guaranteed to be granted your earned payout without interference from other players.
Overall I would rate my experience with the Kaniw Casino as very positive. Doytsch made me feel safe and welcome, even with multiple of my enemies standing right next to me. He still somehow managed to get us to have fun together as a group, and made sure that no one would be stolen from.

Having been to this nation before its official opening, I was very surprised to see the effortless progress it has made in such a short time. So far, this is the most accurate depiction of a proper Minecraft casino. With multiple gambling modes from Slots to the Tower of Luck, this casino really exceeds the expectations which I have been starting to make of EarthMC casinos. With a lavish, rich style, this casino is befitted with maparts of all kinds, from Kanye West to a simple gambling meme. This casino checks out the criteria “visually pleasing”, with the addition of a shader pack, I was able to have a gambling experience like none other before on EarthMC. The nation of Zulu Empire has a beautiful scenery, filled with vibrant green birch trees and structures built of natural blocks, such as deepslate and sandstone.
Final Words
I have seen MANY casinos in my decade of playing Minecraft. I have seen good ones and I have seen extremely crummy ones. In my experiences on other servers, every Casino was a built building, which consisted of multiple floors of gambling devices. They were all wonderfully decorated and some of them even were a 1:1 scale of ACTUAL casinos in real life.
On EarthMC, most casinos are simple gambling machines, such as the ones at /n spawn germany. I personally prefer Casinos which are large, colourfully lit buildings with complexly hidden redstone setups, but easy to use and simple to understand controls. The only casino which I saw that actually fulfils these requirements would be the Zulu Empire.
Now, as of my time of writing the following sentences, the whole “AmstarLove” situation has happened and even cooled down. I had been to Tassie multiple times to help Amstar build her casino, it looked like a casino, felt like it would be a casino, and I had planned on writing more about it. I don’t know who the current leader of Tassie is right now, but all I ask is; if you are reading this, even if Amstar had scammed you, stolen from you, or even blackmailed you. Please finish the Casino. I had worked with Amstar to get the materials to build it and it would be greatly appreciated if I could see EarthMC’s BEST casino be the Casino I helped build.
